New Deadline
The federal government has extended the deadline for REAL ID to May 7, 2025.
About REAL ID
REAL ID is a new, redesigned driver’s license and state ID with enhanced security features that became available beginning mid to late January 2024. Residents will receive the new license or ID if they are applying for their first card or renewing/replacing their current card.
